Backstage at Baba Yaga

It's always amazing to see something that you've written come to life. When I first thought of using shadow puppets to illustrate some of the scenes, I was far from imagining how incredible they would look. Here is a glimpse behind the scenes as the talented young performers of the Créa create the various characters of Baba Yaga - the fruit of several different minds: Director Francois Berdeaux, Choreographer Kairo Aurélien, Set Designer Antoine Milian (assisted by Edwige Latrille), Costume Designer Isabelle Pasquier (assisted by Alice Laforge) and Light Designer Marie-Hélène. It has been a wonderful collaborative experience and the results far exceed anything I could have come up with on my own!
